Last week I attended the Innovation in Life Sciences camp and Hackathon . I would like to thank Blackstone LaunchPad of UT Southwestern Medical Center Camp, Natalie Lundsteen for facilitating this opportunity, the amazing team that hosted us at The University of Texas Medical Branch and Texas A&M University Galveston
Campus (spearheaded by Lanette Harris, Daniel Jupiter, and massoud motamedi), and the inspiring speakers and panelists who added remarkable value to the experience!

PhD Candidate, Biotechnology

This past week I participated in my very first Hackathon. Heterogeneity in our thoughts and ideas helped us come up with an invention. Perspective and collaboration helped us finish in the TOP 3. Winning isn’t everything but placing 2nd in the UTMB and Blackstone LaunchPad Hackathon was something special. Thanks to my teammates!
Aireona Armagon
Texas Southern University
PharmD Candidate"
