UTEP Miners Market
Businesses get busy at UTEP’s Miner Market. Students gathered on a few cold autumn days at the Union Breezeway for the first annual Miner Market which gave local vendors the opportunity to display and promote their businesses. The Miner Market displayed booths Nov. 14 and 15, 2022 with a wide-ranging selection of food, jewelry, photography and venue services, all meanwhile offering free food and music. Some of the vendors included Whole Lota Denim, Daizy Baby, AQO Jewelry, Case 101, Cell Kulture CO., Sessions Climbing + Fitness and many more.

Student Testimonials
"
"I got involved with the LaunchPad because wanted to turn my idea into reality and have an actual business running. The Blackstone LaunchPad has helped me with my business by providing me with access to mentors, competitions, and participation in national conferences. I have received a little bit of funding to get my business running. It's been overall a great opportunity and without Blackstone LaunchPad's support and guidance I wouldn’t be where I am today."

"
"I got involved with the LaunchPad because I needed direction with my e-commerce business. I believe that you should get involved with Blackstone LaunchPad if you have a big idea and don’t know how to make it a reality. They will help you, guide you, and teach you how to fund that idea. I'm so thankful for everything they have taught me."

"
"I got involved with Blackstone Launchpad because I wanted to learn more about entrepreneurship and how to launch and run a business. I grew up with a lot of family and family friends that started businesses, many of them without any formal background in business and so I've kind of watched how a lot of them ran their businesses successfully and others encountered a lot of difficulties. So that kind of has sparked my interest in understanding how to run a business and to know what makes a business successful or not."
